Commercial & Architectural Photography
I am just as much at home up to my ankles in sewage in a waste treatment works as I am dangling out of a helicopter capturing aerial images!
Each assignment is unique and calls for different techniques and approaches.
With over 15 years' experience, being fazed is not an option.
Commercial Photography
Commercial photography covers a wide number of different disciplines. It can include portraits of staff and directors; it can incorporate annual reports, website images, business to business marketing, on set TV and Film reportage work and industrial photography.
I have extensive experience in producing eye catching corporate photography and have a long and varied client list.
A total, high quality digital workflow has become essential in this field of photography, where the most common deadline is yesterday!
Today, everything is shot digitally (unless the client requires a more traditional service, where 35mm, Panoramic or Medium Format images can be supplied), and all images are supplied edited on disk, or emailed direct to the client or supplied as raw images on-site if speed really is of the essence.
Architectural Photography
Architectural photography is a waiting game. It is not possible to just turn up and hope for the best.
The key to all architectural assignments is planning: planning the direction of the available light, planning the best time to take the picture and planning the best position to take it from.
Interiors require an extensive understanding of lighting to produce stunning imagery. It is not enough to just set up your tripod and expose for the ambient lighting. Supplementary lighting is almost always required to balance the light inside and out and bring bricks and mortar to life.
